Fees & Rebates

Our standard fee for a 50-minute consult with a Generalist Psychologist is $220. Clients who qualify for a Medicare Rebate (via a GP referral) incur an out-of-pocket cost of approximately $119. We operate as a private billing practice and do not offer bulk billing, which enables us to deliver a high-quality and personalised service to each client.  

Payment details are securely collected prior to your initial appointment. Consultation fees are processed following each session using the payment method provided. Where applicable, Medicare rebates may be claimed for eligible appointments.  Clients accessing therapy privately, without a Mental Health Treatment Plan, are also welcome.

We understand that circumstances can change and that appointments sometimes need to be rescheduled. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible. Cancellation fees will apply where insufficient notice is provided, outside of 24 hrs notice, in accordance with our cancellation policy.

You do not need a GP referral to access psychological therapy privately. However, to claim Medicare rebates under the Better Access initiative, you will generally need a valid referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP or another eligible referring practitioner.

Depending on your policy, you may be eligible for a rebate through your private health insurer. We recommend checking your level of cover and rebate entitlements directly with your insurer. Medicare and private health insurance benefits cannot be claimed for the same appointment.
